"After our successful cooperation both in sponsoring the first two international conferences on
teacher education in China, 2007 and 2008 respectively, ICED and Anqing Teachers College
(ATC) have agreed to further our partnership. To start with, ICED will help ATC strengthen its
curriculum and teaching strategies in the areas of History, Education and English. Last October,
Drs. Douglas DeWitt (chairman) and Sam Song (President) gave lectures at its School of Education.
This April Dr. Rick Cornish is teaching American History to the students from its Schools of
Humanities and Foreign Languages. Both sides are willing to further explore the mutual relationship
